Great Western Minerals Separation Plant With Power Good progress on Steenkampskraal

 

Great Western Minerals (CVE:GWG, OTC:GWMGF, FFT:GWM) shared with, make that work to build a separation plant on the Steenkampskraal rare earths project in South Africa, good progress.
Ein Expertenteam of Joint Venture Partners Qiandong Ganzhou Rare Earth Group (GQD) will arrive in the coming weeks on site, by Great Western with details of the design, To clarify the construction and operation of the plant.

Great Western was closed in July, a preliminary agreement with GQD, that the Chinese company a 25% 's Share of the operating company for the plant. A final JV agreement should follow as soon as possible.

GQD supplies for more than 15 Years of metals and oxides of Great Western's subsidiary Less Common Metals in Birkenhead, UK.

"Our agreement with QGD is one of the most important phases in the development of our business model,"Great Western Chief Jum Engdahl explained in July.

“GQDs experience in the rare earth industry will ensure, that the new plant uses the latest standards of the liquid-liquid extraction. "

Construction of the separation plant is scheduled for early 2012 planned. Production is 2013 begin.

Except Steenkampskraal Great Western has seven other rare earths exploration- and development projects in North America.
