Tekton Energy ( reported today, that there are additional areas of 1.900 acres (7,7 km2) for petroleum- and natural gas exploration and production has leased the prospective north-western part of the Wattenberg field. Thus, the total area of ​​Tekton increased to approximately. 4.200 acres (17 km2). The new areas are located a few miles north of Tekton's original project area.
